Welcome to our cozy holiday home De Wimpel on Ameland, located in the dunes between the village of Nes and the beach. This charming cottage with thatched roof and wimpel offers everything for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The house has two bedrooms: one bedroom with a comfortable double bed (incl. washbasin) and one bedroom with two bunk beds, ideal for a family holiday or a weekend with friends. The beds have single duvets and pillows, but don’t forget to bring your own bed linen and towels or simply rent them in advance when booking.
The bathroom is in a separate room and has a shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped for a carefree cooking experience, with a spacious refrigerator with freezer drawers, a four-burner gas stove, a combination oven with microwave and dishwasher. Everything is within reach for a cozy breakfast or dinner in the cottage.
The living room is a nice place to relax, with a television (incl. DVD player) and radio for entertainment. Wi-Fi is of course available, so you can enjoy your stay both offline and online.
Outside you can enjoy the fresh sea air on two terraces. The first terrace is equipped with a comfortable lounge set, ideal for a relaxing afternoon, while the second terrace with table, chairs and a parasol is perfect for a cozy meal in the open air.

Booking terms
Monday and Friday are the fixed arrival and departure days. The cottage is rented per week, midweek or weekend. On request and with the holidays (Easter, Ascension Day, Pentecost and Christmas) this can be deviated from.

About the location
Holiday home De Wimpel is located in a quiet area on Ameland, surrounded by dunes and a short distance from the beach. The charming village of Nes, with cozy restaurants, shops and bicycle rental, is only a few minutes away.
Thanks to its favorable location, you can easily explore the entire island, whether you want to walk, cycle or enjoy the vast sandy beaches.
Accessibility
To reach de Wimpel, you can take the bus from the boat in the direction of Nes/Buren. Your exit stop is: Hotel Ameland. Returning to the boat is just as easy. The bus leaves from the stop approximately 35 minutes before the boat leaves (check the timetable at the bus stop).

The cottage is not new, but neat and clean. The location is quiet, on the edge of the dunes. You can walk wonderfully in the forest and on the beach.
